Do you have a certified sea foamer for Tacomas in your area?

I dont, hence why i never seafoamed after evrey tire rotation like you are supposed to. Im concerned!!

I would like to see a "pre vacuum cleaner" and a "post vacuum cleaner" tech.

Pre; everything is fine.

Post; everything is fxxxed.

This has turned into gold.

This has turned into gold.

Huh?

What has turned to gold? How did it turn to gold? What steps were taken to prepare it for the transition? Please be specific in your wright up....Jeez...

Brian seafoamed the thread, hence why its now gold!

Card board is down, skid plate is off, fluid is drained from t cases. I am officially started on my crawler gears.
Then I got side tracked.
I put the stickers Joe gave me on my new cabinet.
Did a touch up spot on the tundra.
Played with my rc stuff.
Messed around with how to mount my air tank.
Messed around with how to mount the anti wrap bar.
Then I was cold, so I went inside.

This morning I made a winch hook attachment point.
Moving right along.

Nice!

I built my truck centered around running 35s
If I go 37s I'll have to put longer bumpstops on the rear, not a big deal, but I'll have to trim a bunch on the front.
And I'm still running 4.88 gears.
Not excited about cutting into my cab and cab mounts and I'll limit my steering due to spring contact.
Also concerned about the 15x8 wheels.
I called and since my tires are still a ways out, I can switch them to 35s. And not suffer a wait penalty.

Any thoughts?
Ideas?
Am I over thinking this?
Will my gearing suffer with the larger tires?
Will I be breaking things?
Please ponder and advice me.

There really wasn't much difference between my 35" BFG's and the 37" Pitbulls. Standing side by side almost no difference in height. Rubbing came in do to the Pitbulls being wider, 13.5 on a 10" wheel.

Over thinking. Test fit them, hack and smash with a hammer until they dont rub, drink a beer.

37" radials are almost 1.5" taller than the bias ply ones. They are probably the biggest 37 you will come across. They are also the full advertised width at the shoulder.

Tony, I may be biased, but I say you cram the biggest tire you can fit. If it doesn't fit, make it.

You are probably lighter than my old 1st Gen, and I kept axles together on 42's. Granted, I did break a couple ring gears, but they were always doing something stupid, and without taking the slack out of the drivetrain.

I vote wait for the 37's

With my 35s aired down to 5 psi. on the beadlocks, from the ground up they don't even measure 32" tall.
At 30psi the geolanders are only 34.25" tall.
I do want the extra ground clearance.
Being a bit taller, mayhaps I won't have to air down as much.
This kinda thing is what happens when I ponder from inside the house, vs inside the garage.

Thanks, Gum.
Joe and Hoff convinced me.

Whoever buys my 35s will get a discount if they help me dismount them.....and remount the 37s.

I'm really hoping my tires ship next week.
I'll find out Thursday.
Then the 35s will be up for grabs.
I feel positive about this.

Sign me up for some 35's!
