I'm a new 100 owner. Sorry for the ignorance. Is there a function to enable the auto power door locks?I would like to enable it?

Sorry, like I said I'm new at this. It is an 02' and I got it with 84k miles. I have been looking at these forever just found one for the right price.
I dont believe that feature was avaliable at that time, however I'm almost positive 2003s and up came with that option. Why do you want it to auto-lock? I hated that on the other Lexus and had them turn it off.

I have toddlers right now and it seems easier to have it this way vice child locks.
Click the child safety lock on. It is in the door jomb of the rear doors.
Many aftermarket alarm systems have this feature, its on my Viper Alarm, also can be disabled.
auto-locking doesnt mean they cant unlock it and open it, use the child locks or teach them not to open the door unless they want to die.

Corrected.
well they wont really learn till they try it and find out what happens when you do it. Best way to learn is from misteaks...I mean mistakes. I knew I should've eaten more dinner.
