Auto alternatives for the 13Bt (1 Viewer)

Wondering if anyone has ever heard of anything other than the A440 auto behind a 13Bt? Has anyone or any shop ever adapted newer auto technology for it? Such a great motor and horrible auto I’m more curious than anything.

I have this fantasy of swappioig a modern ZF8HP behind a 13B-T. Those 8HP’s are the go to choice for modern auto swaps. Several aftermarket ecu’s and tuners are available to make them work stand alone. Trivia… that is the transmission in the new Supra.
