I really like the idea of these Aussie door cards but here in AZ that is just more exposed metal that I could burn my arm on. Have tossed around the idea of the One Stone Armrests the armrests for the 70 series fit with a few simple modifications.

Here is a link for a US based 80 owner that installed the One Stone armrests in his rig, Track Called Quest One Stone Armrest Install

I received and installed the inner door/ window belt molding ( 68170-60040, 68240-60010 ) on the front and rear doors.

I found out why there are 2 part numbers for the rear doors. The front door mounting slots are equidistant from the ends on both sides. There is no left and right for front door molding. On the rear doors the mounting slots are offset to the rear an inch or less. This means you can't use left for right thus 2 part numbers.

Since you get 2 of the same for rear then the slots don't line up on one side. I ended up trimming one side 1/2 to 3/4 inch short to fit. I thought about trying to relocate the mounting clips but figured I would end up destroying the molding doing so.

One other issue I had was much difficulty sliding clips into place. I finally realized the clip was not fully finished in that there were connections used when stamping sheet metal that need to be removed for clip to work ( front of clip still attached to back of clip ). Wish I had pictures but before you put too much force to clip look real close at bottom of tab that is supposed to slide into slot.

The four belt moldings cost $123.00 plus shipping from Thailand.

These look damn good! how did you redo the arm rest in black? (the little lower one with the stitching)
Believe it or not our armrests are removable and actually screw to the door card with Phillips screws! I unscrewed the armrests, found two of them had cracks and had broken. Used epoxy to rebuild the broken plastic which was super easy. The bottom armrest just pops out and also had those wrapped. Took them to my local upholstery shop and spent $90 on whatever vinyl I saw that they had. I used a European black vinyl that BMW used in the late 90s as their seat and door card material. It’s extremely durable and one of the few European interior things I remember liking as they held up well.

i stumbled onto this thread and was wondering is there a Pakistani/Russia/Africa/Italian/Kazakhstan/etc door cards? What an interesting product!

It doesnt seem terribly difficult to modify the ABS card to work with the US rollover window seal. Though I think I would prefer AUS spec so I can add those cool cupholder armrests.

Too bad you cant find the front window strips. The knock offs seem to might work but no one has posted updates and they are like $185...

I have a set of Aussie door cards and knockoff EBay stops on the way, I’ll report back once they’re in hand.

It looks like rebelcruiser above used the same ones I ordered.

I do wish they made cards for the rear cargo area like the 60. I emailed them to see if they do or could but havent heard back.

They can do this for you, just ask when you order. If original door cards are in good condition just use them as a template and drill the holes.

I've been finishing my door cards over the weekend. Lower arm rest can be done at home without stitching if you want to save money. Not the ABS panels, but arm rests are the same.

Leather is stapled into the plastic, remove it all. Get some ebay foam backed headliner fabric & glue it into the recessed part of the arm rest. Height is perfect for a flush finish. Lay the vinyl over, heat gun to stretch around the corners and staple it back together tight. Will need a good staple gun for this. I glued an extra layer of the foam headliner on, very plush.

@Gerry McGerry Great idea recovering the arm rests! I'm adding this to my to do list. Mine are cloth and more worn than any other surface in the rig. The process looks a lot like what I've done when recovering motorcycle seats. I still have the electric stapler that I bought for that purpose. Do you recall the size (depth) staples you used for this?

@CharlieS very similar to moto upholstery. Staples are 12mm W x 6mm H 'heavy duty'. The plastic is slightyly thicker around the edges, aim there. Anywhere I had to staple into the thinner material I just trimmed the staples down to ~4mm. Recommend doing the extra layer of foam, I'm finishing another one today, I'll shoot you a photo.

Yeah the factory foam was slim to nothing, so I also opted for a thicker alternative to restore some actual cushion feeling.

So I dug through a few salvage yards, and websites (Yoshi, Impex, and some others to include the usual's) and came up dry. I actually found a seller selling the OEM fronts out of Russia but wasn't a thread I was willing to pull. Ended up ordering the Thailand window seal trim like the others. I asked Australian Door Cards if they had any other sources and they also directed me to the Thailand vendor on ebay. Looks to be the only option now.

Side note: They cant make cards for the rear cargo area.

These things are great!

I also reused the stock US spec inner wipers! I removed them from the stock door cards, removed the mounting tabs, and used heavy duty 3M acrylic double sided tape (red backing) to stick them to the door panel. They honestly look great, and seem to work perfectly like that.

I have the Taiwanese inner wipers on the shelf, but I didn’t want to install them right now. My truck is going into paint next month, and I didn’t want to install them and take the chance of messing them up when I remove them.

Hi Rob,

I am the Manager at Australian Door Cards, I would be interested as well to see the quality of our knockoff door cards, we have seen these pop up on eBay since December and we are pretty miffed that they blatantly stole our product and even use our advertising photos. We have reported them multiple times and the listings get taken down only to have a new one or five appear the next day.

We have an ongoing discount code for IH8MUD members, all you need to do is use the code IH8MUD at checkout and you will be offered a discount what used to be 10% but I will increase it to 20% and I will track how many times it is used

Also feel free to contact me regarding the rear cards as well

I do wish they made cards for the rear cargo area like the 60. I emailed them to see if they do or could but havent heard back.
Hi JoeCova

The problem we have with the 80 series rear cargo is that they are a moulded panel and we can only supply flat cards with our facilities. I am sorry you havn't heard back from me but I'm sure I have responded to an email recently about this

Do you guys think it's possible to have the drawing dimension (2D) of those door panel ?
Hi Lavrnt,

What measurements are you after?

If anyone has any other questions about our Door Cards selection please let me know and either respond to me in this tread, PM me, or email at info@doorcards.com.au

Hey @DrLui, I believe I purchased authentic cards from y’all. They did ship from Australia, Order #W10072. I want aware of the discount, I should have used that as well!

The knockoffs I mentioned are the inner door wipers, since Toyota stock appears to be NLA.

Sorry for the confusion!

Yup you replied to my email but I wish I knew about the discount.

I’m going to create a new thread for the install with more information and what I learned about the OEM window trim.

Here’s a sneak peak.

Hi JoeCova,

Tha AU and US specs are the same, with every electric model that came out all over the world the door cards came with the steel topper covering the painted steel on the doors. We modified the electric ABS door cards because the topper had a plastic mould that is normally upholstered and blended into the factory masonite to make it look seamless.

If people would like to keep using the factory steel topper i can easily modify the door cards to accommodate and use the factory fixings. Happy to supply a sample set to you to test out and if you are willing to to a new thread with the install we can use that as a staring point to listing them on our website as well.
Feel free to PM me to discuss further.
