hi all. after reading IH8MUD since buying and owning an fj55 i thought it was about time i signed up to say g'day and show my pig
this is my 1973 fj55 the day i bought it with an aussie holden 308 v8 already in it for $1500au!!
so far ive put a new carby on it.
a holley 650.
an old uhf radio that came with it
a new 2 and a half inch lukey sports exhaust
and a new 4core radiator to keep the beast cool in the hot aussie summer.. so far so good
im new to 4x4's and what a legend of a car to start my 4x4 experience in!!
hope ya'll like it!!
i think its had a shackle? lift and a body lift.
it drives real nice apart from a slight wobble at 90kmh (55mph?)
and has plenty of grunt with the aussie v8!!
ive been out 4wdriving in it twice since owning it and doing some these repairs and it seems to be a tuff 4x4!!
and finally some pics of the first test run (and the 55 flexin it muscles) at a local 4x4 park!
the 55 all muddied up for the first time
not sure of any future plans.
for the moment im just going to enjoy driving it
hope ya'll like it!
