Here's the plan for Saturday the 16th...

I know some will be there building early, but the official ride into town for the build will begin at 12pm at the intersection of I-85 and Hwy. 441. This is exit 149. Any Land Cruisers that show up at this time will be led to the build site by the Patriot Guard Riders. Also, there will be media in and around this ride as well as at the build site for most of the weekend. We need to make this ride a statement. Please try to meet at this exit no later than 11am as we do not know how many will be with us. The more there are, the longer it will take to get lined up.

I have asked the Ride Coordinator from the PGR for any specific landmarks for a good meeting place, but I know it will be close to the interstate to make for an easy lineup for all. I'll update asap. Please try to make it to the ride. I, and several others will be at the build site on Friday night but will leave and meet up for this ride.

Hey guys, just got a call from eventhough. Metaltech is going to donate a cage for this 40 (wow is all I can say) and they'll need a 40 at the event that they can take the cage out of in order to do some measurements. Anyone planning (or could plan) to bring their 40 to the event? Full disclosure... they would be pulling your cage out to do the measurements.

I can't make the event or I'd bring mine.

Just post up if you are planning to bring yours.

there is a caravan meeting in Commerce at 441 near the walmart. Saturday at 12 noon (prompt) they are caravaning into Watkinsville, led by the Patriot Guard Riders club. Most are gathering at around 11am to line up.

it's not lookin' good for me either, I'm bummed about it too. Sorry guys, I feel obligated to show but I gotta pull the EFI chamber off the top of my DD this weekend so it's drivable again. The deep freeze we had down here popped a coolant leak somewhere and I gotta find it!
