I just replaced mine at 190,000. I pulled out a cheap China one from the PO. So I am at least on my second replacement. Replaced with OEM refurbished.

Roughly around 190k/200k along with rack and pinion. Replaced with OEM, but still need to rekey all the exterior door locks. Anyone happen to know how much of a pain that is to DIY, or better to just have locksmith do it?

Mine died last month at 389 km, (241k miles). However it was making noise for over 2 years - I just kept putting off the job until it completely failed and I needed a tow home...
