Just ordered this same exhaust but I'm impatient and thinking about removing the whole section up to where it mounts until it gets here haha.
i have mixed feelings about it tbh i kinda wish it was louder. It’s very tame for a V8 exhaust in my opinion but still better than the rusty mess i had before it

Working on one of my biggest pet peeves which is the underwhelming to me ML sound system so far i’ve got my amp rack semi setup the way i want. i need to measure the third row window molle panel so i can cut to fit and hopefully still be able to mount the 2 amps there

The JL FIX86 def won’t fit so i’ll probably mount it where i had my LoC22 previously on the small jack door.
I’m hoping the FIX is going to do what i need it to so i can bypass ML amp to my sundown.

I installed 4 ohm speakers for front doors (C2650), front left and right dash(C2400x), and center dash(C2350x) and discovered the ML amp goes into protect above 47 volume so here we are trying to see what i can do to get some more volume out of this without going too crazy

Any input much appreciated

That's quite a setup!
Where is it all going to go? I guess you could do a third seat delete and stick it all under there, sans the subwoofer.

As I've become older, the only time I really turn up the volume is for my wife when a good song comes up from the 60's or 70's. 😁
I'm no audiophile, but you are right in the lack of volume the ML has, but the fidelity, at lest for me and my wife, is really good.
From the looks of your setup, you agree, because I don't see any tweeters or midrange speakers, just lots of "boom-boom, thump-thump" equipment.
Should sound amazing when done!

how it’s going so far soldering with only a couple of inches of wire on one end is quite annoying lol

So here’s the shorthand since i’ve had a few people ask me and i couldn’t find info on how to do this at all

1. Get to your ML Amp and unplug the big plug
2. find the colors for the speakers from post 247
3. it’s scary but at this point you cut the wires for the speakers you’re wanting to get amplified
(i kept the center speaker on the ML, and third row i didn’t look for them so not sure the colors for those)
4. run that to input of DSP ( the fix86 has 4 front inputs so i did front doors and front dash speakers as front)
5. Run the vehicle side of the cut cables to the output of your aftermarket amp
6. run RCA from dsp to aftermarket amp

that should be it, super basic run through but if anyone has questions i might be able to help
