I'm selling the pair of Asco long body fine spline hubs from my 1978 FJ55 for $420 shipped to the lower 48. The hubs are in excellent condition with only one small dent in the hub body. You can see it in the pictures below, it is minor. Note these have the period correct #7 bolts holding the hub face on. I have cleaned the hubs, greased them, and installed new star paper gaskets. The price is firm, and I'll accept friends and family PayPal or a USPS money order. No trades. If you have any questions please let me know. Thanks!

Anyone have a spare long body hub or parts?

ASCO hub issue -

Jinkees! The inner gear crumbled? That the heck? I am pretty sure the metallurgy was a little better than that back then. Wonder if you just got a bad batch?

On a separate note, I seem to recall reading somewhere that the shorter inner gear can be used in a long-body, but the reverse cannot be done (not sure why anyone would try). I am trying to remember how that would affect the inner workings of the lock-out, but I think better with the actual parts in front of me...

Wow, that person is pretty proud of their ASCOs! I think I might put a little more elbow grease in on those if I was trying to fetch over 4 bills...

And they are keeping the cone washers.

I don't give my parts away, sorry you don't like the price; and you should have seen how they looked before the cleaning.
