Well, the Cooper and Multi-Mile/Cordovan were both running $120-$130 with no dickering..........special order. I'm cheap. I don't agree that a second tier/generic bias ply should cost as much as a first quality radial in about the same size.

So I went with these, Primex Trakmaster 700-15, 30.1" OD. $80/ea shipped. I'll let you know what they look like. Yes, they're Chinese.

The 750-16 is a huuuge tire. 32" OD. :D I actually was going to go with the Nanking, then by chance saw these on Ebay, missed them before.

Primex 700-15 tires came today, this tire is much nicer looking than I expected, nice crisp molding and what looks and feels like a decent compound. Time will tell.

Maybe tonight, I've got to cut some trees before they start to get pumped up for the spring.........................looking like the new floor for heating oil is going to be $3 a gallon.

Primex 700-15, this tire is one heavy...........if you have any thoughts about mounting them yourself..............don't. Pay the money and have someone do it. The tread depth in the center is 19/32", immediately off the center the tread gets deeper...........hard to explain but when they're worn I'd expect them to look like a NDT.
