How does your padded dash look? My cruiser was a little over six years when I bought it the dash was covered with carpeting and the vinyl underneath was toast.

Exactly, marine carpet. Couldn't have described it better.
Although, the lower dash pad vinyl is still intact, little dry looking, but no cracks.

I have two 6 lug sequoia or tundra wheels. 17x7.5 w center caps. $75ea

I had Discount tire put them on the balance machine and neither needed more than 1/2oz or 3/4oz. and were both round. They fit 80 series well. See pics for minor nicks and scratches.

I made some from pvc and rubber coupling painted flat black. The heater end needs to be oval so heat the pic and form to fit.

That's started with the 74 model (9/73?) before that they were round. Those post 73 model can also be found used easier. First few after the chance the hoses were rubber with a steel wire. Around 78 they were molded out Plastic/PVC type material. Those survived better.

Three safaris to Africa
My Field Bag has now been used on three safaris to Africa. I have found it the perfect sized bag for a camera, ammo, binoculars, sweater and a number of other items. (The bag fits behind the seat of a Land Cruiser as if it was made for it.) Africa can be extremely tough on equipment, but after cleaning with a sponge, my bag looks like new and makes a great carry-on bag. It’s always the first piece of equipment I grab for a trip.

I have a couple of 80 series models just no time to build them and Am always looking for different series to buy. I found a 70 series pickup model at a hobby store in Tucson but didnt buy it hoping it will be there next time.

Wonder if that is the Fiat 2.4 turbo found in the Spanish spec'd LC's or the 2.4LT Toyota motor - huge difference. From what I've read if you get to 200K with the Fiat version consider yourself lucky.
