Not sure. It does have Toyota spec Bilsteins all around. However, I'm not familiar with the TRD spec on the FJC's. Either way it's a great truck, relatively low miles, and likely never seen any dirt from the looks of it

Toyota OEM 80 series alloys and Nittos
For Sale - Phoenix: Set of 5 80 series alloys and Nitto Terra Grapplers
congrats!!
Wanted: 4x4, automatic FJ Cruiser 110k or fewer miles. If anyone knows of one for sale, LMK. GF is looking to move over from her 2013 4Runner with 98k on it. And, the 4runner will be FS/trade if she finds one.
**Found,and purchased, a 2013 in Iceburg white***
Curious the reason for a FJ Cruiser instead of the 5th gen T4R she already had? After having a 1st Gen Tundra access cab would never buy another vehicle that required opening the front door to open the back.
Did the girlfriend not like the T4R for any particular reason? While my wife would be better suited to a Highlander think she will end up with a T4R.
I mean, they ain’t wrongnot to mention the inevitable and endless barrage of “not a real cruiser” comments
I mean, they ain’t wrong

Aesthetically, yes. Don't give her the technical details - she'll realize she's still driving a 4runner but in disguise. She prefers the FJC aesthetic, it's closer to the Land Cruiser lineage
@Living in the Past : She prefers the FJC aesthetic, it's closer to the Land Cruiser lineage, she doesn't need a 3rd row any longer (her 5rh gen had one), and her tall kids and I fit in FJC:s comfortably. Tall bodies do not do well in 4Runners. She was willing to pay more in gas and purchase price for the FJC. Those things are selling higher than original MSRP if you can find them under 60k mi.![]()
While not higher than MSRP few year old 4Runners at Toyota dealers (certified) and not much less than new. My wife is watching to see if they are going to go zero interest like the Camry, RAV4 and Tacoma. My wife does not need tall seating. When we bought the Sequoia the 100 series went because the length of the 100 series seats were too long. I preferred the 100 series seats but Sequoia is my DD except when up north when the FJ62 is my DD. Have not seen the third row seats in the 5th gen 4Runners but remember when we bought the 04 4Runner they were a joke. Only time I looked at a FJ Cruiser was the day the first one but CBT in March of 06. Remember I didn't think the second row seats were any better then my wife's 04 4Runner. But that was sixteen years ago. Wasn't going to give up my 100 series for a FJ Cruiser. The 5.7 V8 extra room in the Sequoia did.
Ahh, she knows. That was actually a selling point. She loved the 5th gen, and had no problems with it.Aesthetically, yes. Don't give her the technical details - she'll realize she's still driving a 4runner but in disguise.
My brother bought a new TRD Off-Road Taco with 6-spd manual trans, e-locker, etc and loves it.I would be super surprised to see 0% interest on tacomas... they pretty much never deal on those. If they did though... I would be so down for a taco. may be just the excuse needed to sell the 100...
