Are you going to buy a LX700h OT?

You should drive them back to back. I did the current GX and LX and couldn’t imagine the GX motor motivating the much heavier LX.
My LX seem pretty quick. I am sure the 700 OT would be much quicker and responsive. My concern with the 700 OT is adding more complexity to an already complicated piece of equipment. I already have to worry about the TTV6 leaving pieces along the highway at some random, inopportune time.

I hear you and there is certainly some logic there.... a good debater (not me) may coutner with.....

1. Toyota added an actual alternator+starter to the platform.... this is pretty unique in the hybrid world. Allows for a fully funcitoning gas system if the hybrid fails.
2. Sealed/waterproof batter compartment with sensor.
3. Upgraded frame to support the added weight.

And then theres the 'just feels better'. I have a 2022 Tundra non hybrid. I have a 2025 Sequoia Pro (hybrid). My work vehicle is the 600 Fsport (anxiously awaiting my OT to arrive next week and I'll be swaping it out with the 600).
I have to admit, my sequoia pro is so fun to drive. You can't really full describe the difference in the hybrid until you drive it. I am pretty excited to updrade from the 600 to the 700. (But honestly, Toyota had me at 'triple locked', so hybrid or not, she's mine.)

Good move. I doubt you will be disappointed. 6 months in and I am still amazed with the 300. Hope you ordered a 2row - assuming you do not need a 3 row. That's the only fumble with this truck.

Good read. Gives me something to do while my 600 is in the shop getting a new transmission. On a positive note it probably just needed programming and i will get it back with loose bolts somewhere and the same issues. Probably going lemon law if its not perfect. But I do like the car, minus whoever tampered with them to get .2mpg.

As far as a 700, WTF with the 18 gallon fuel tank.

Maybe I will get a white Fsport 600 if I complain enough. But I am honestly thinking about just sticking with Super Duties, pretty close fit and finish in the higher trims and no damages from the manufacturer trying to scam the epa and their buyers.

Funny how 5-30 made it run smoother and mpg stayed the same and maybe went up 🤷🏼‍♂️. The epa or whoever should really look into this.

Don’t make me do it!

Car is nice but few observations.
There’s a grittiness or coarseness to the engine/drivetrain when accelerating. I feel like it should be smoother for a…Lexus.
However acceleration is quick for a big car.

I don’t like the transmission tunnel. Dog people know why.

Do not get the 3 row if you care about storage space. And even then, the hybrid battery eats into the overall volume.

I do like the middle console area. Cup holders are easy to get to. Charging for phone is right there.

Sales person was clueless as usual.
she was telling me how the new Landcruiser and GX are not the same.

To answer the threads question, No, traded my old LX570 for (plus $$ :)) a Denali pickup for half the price and more interior space for the family. This V8 guy is excited and expectations an are set accordingly. It’s definitely no Lexus but it’s very nice.

Kept my 100 for any wheeling I may do.

Thought I'd ask the hive mind...any idea on when the next gen LC will be released.

The LC300 was released almost 6 years ago and getting a bit long in the tooth.

The LX700H recently came out with an upgraded powertrain.

Reason why I'm asking is that I'd like to consider my upcoming options...TIA.
