yes 2 ends came with it, one is for the zerks, the other I have no clue what its for,

Is it for greasing the front knuckles through the pipe-fitting plug on the top?

I have a tube attachment in my tool bag for my 55 but no grease gun to go with it

correct, I understood the 45LV used the 45 short bed frame.........so thats why the spare tire bracket is there on the 45LV

If I recall correctly it is part of the brackets for the spare tire carrier on the 45 pickups.
