you could run a FF in the front, it just has to do with the type of axle, semi float/full float. these refernce the actual shafts, a FF uses a hub assembly where the wheel bolts to thehub and the axle shaft goes through the hub into the diff and bolt to the hub assembly via some bolts. in a FF the vehicle weight is all on the hub assembly rather than on the axle shaft and a bearing..
as for the locker it self it is lacking a acess window to install the 'c' clips that keep a semi float shaft from coming out.

Actually ARB makes a carrier that will not accept C clips. You can use this if full floater rears or front axles only (current ARB part no. RD33). They also make a locker that will work in both semi and full floaters (current ARB part no. RD124), I believe this was what used to be the RD08. I cannot remember the old part number for the full floating only locker. The idea behind the full floating only locker was that by not machining a spot for the C clips the carrier would be stronger. My personal opinion in the semi floating (allows c clips) ARBs were plenty strong.

Well I'm interested. I dropped you a PM.

i have another set of 4:88 gears that are installed on a open carrier. these gears are coming out of the frnt end and are maybe 1 yr old hardly used maybe 200 miles. they will go in any cruiser.
400. plus shipping.. let me know retail is about 550-600.
