We are in, camping may be a stretch, still undecided. Good trail to break in the new ride...:D

Is there any interest in playing around with some night vision equipment after the campfire burns out? Might be fun given the 'micro-moon' over the weekend (*moons furthest point from the earth at ~30k miles more distant than 'super-moon' distance when it's closest).

I'll be field testing some IR lasers/illuminators (DBAL-D2 and -PL models), which is about like watching paint dry (in the dark...) if you don't have goggles, though.

Where at Cactus and 101 and time? We will be there.

rumor has it the camp will be at 4000', bring your blankie and heavy jacket!

As you head East on Cactus Road, The last residential street on your right prior to reaching the 101 is where the group meets. Ill try to be there a little before 8AM - see you there Brice & Tina!

Pretty mild temps up here last night, think it got down around 40 at 6500. Of course that's kinda chilly for all the desert rats...:D

We will make sure to winterize the water system this time!

The wife and I are in. Day trip only.

Im going to have to begrudgingly back out, Doc told me 30 minutes ago I have advanced bronchitis and the dust and pollen will be the absolute worst thing for it right now. The timing is horrible!

Was really looking forward to getting out with my CSC friends, it will have to be next time.

Be safe, have fun, and take pics of the awesomeness
