The Bluetooth connection with my factory radio never disconnects whereas the grom unit does. Lol But I get your point.

I did see it and I know that some are having simple issues with it. But more people seem to have a positive experience with it and love it. The cost on this is about the same as replacing it with an aftermarket unit or one of the Android tablets and as others have said, it's better than the OEM unit. If the wireless car play doesn't work, I'm not too concerned as the battery in my phone drains so fast that I almost always have it plugged in to charge when I'm in the vehicle anyway. I won't have it for a couple more weeks so we'll see when I get it.......
That’s fair. I’m debating on using a wired connection for carplay for it I just hate being tethered by a cable.
Sound quality over bluetooth is terrible on anything. If you're an audiophile, wired is the only way to go. I prefer it for functionality too. Non-apple devices that automatically pick up the signal never work well.
I must hate myself, but I have a nearly uncontrollable impulse to order the 13.6” android 10 unit.
Heh, well technically if you are an audiophile you would know nothing a vehicle can have ever will be good enough. The sound is only as good as the audio source, the space and of course speakers that car audio just doesn’t have.
I am an audiophile and came to this realization a couple of decades ago. LOL At this point I’ll settle for clarity and as little compression/filtering as possible. The best system I ever heard was from a Bentley Continental GT and it still wouldn’t pass the audiophile test. But I do agree wired is the way to go over wireless! Sucks the iPhone doesn’t play nice with FLAC. Ugh, I digress.

Yes, it has built in carplay. There's more info on the FB group than on alibaba for sure.

This particular one is for nav only and replaces the hvac controls with new physical buttons.
Gave that s*** up along with IG and all social media (except linkedin, for work of course) during the 2016 election and it was one of the best things I ever did. So much stupid... Chock full of people who should not have a public opinion or voice on both sides of all issues.
I only really use Facebook and only for special interest groups. It’s toxic even there sometimes but the info for niche hobbies and such is really valuable. Props for dumping it tho, wish we could all go back to forums myself.

I installed the SJOYBRING double din, everything works except the audio 
If I turn the key to the right the audio plays for a split second then stops. Turn key to left all the way then back right and it comes on again for a split second then stops. Video remains on the whole time no issues there. Any ideas?
