Anyone one in the KC area running an OME suspension on a 200?

I am considering an OME 2" lift and am curious about how the street/highway ride feels compared to the stock suspension I currently have. I expect a somewhat stiffer feel but would like to see one and get any comments from someone who was done this on a 200.

I don’t have a 200 but if your looking for improved feel pony up for icon, king , fox, radflo. You get the idea. Based on history anything else is to universal. If they aren’t asking questions about how you use the 200. They aren’t an improvement.

What he said. OME is great for budget, but not for comfort if you plan to go off the pavement.

Yes, I get that. However, budget is a thing. What I’m really trying to do is achieve a mild lift, lessen the rake (made worse with my TJM front bumper) and not make it feel like a 1-ton pickup rolling down the highway. Comfort is relative. The comparison is the stock suspension.

any thoughts on Tough Dog?

I’ve heard good things about the Dobinson stuff so, if I were shopping, it’d be high on my list to consider. I run the OME stuff on my 80 and had it on my tundra. Good stuff, built for longevity and heavy loads but not necessarily comfort.

I don’t know much about Tough Dog but the few things I’ve read, it has been good.

also, consider how you’ll be using it as most of the Australian manufacturers have multiple lengths for different weights and heights, etc.

what do these things have in common...

government intellegence

original copies

paid volunteers

200 series budget

I have the Ironman foam cell pro setup with adjustable coilovers in the front. It's much firmer than the pillowy stock suspension, but not harsh by any means. My only complaint is some squeaking I get over low-speed bumps. If I were buying now, I'd also consider Tough Dog. You're welcome to take mine for a test drive.
I did see a lady in my neighborhood the other day with a black 200 on OME suspension, but she appeared to be more of a soccer mom than a serious wheeler.

Anyone up for some Jimbo shrimp? Kelly?
