Anyone installed a Cool Cruisers headliner in their FJ40 lately? It has no rear sewn corners

I have installed several headliners in the past. I think before I ordered SOR and was happy with it but this time tried Cool Cruisers headliner due to cost. It came in a large rolled package and looks fine. However it is completely flat with no sewn mitered corners for the rear. Seems it will be a big wrinkled mess when installed in the corners. Anyone have experience with this headliner? They make no mention of how to install corners in their install guide??

eBay listing states does not have a foam backing? Is that correct?
I read that as well and sent them a message yesterday through eBay (which I have no idea if it works) asking if they had similar with foam backing.. no response yet…

I did their headliner a couple years ago as a DIY project while i had the top off. The corners are not treated and unless you know what you are doing, the corners are a struggle amd mine absolutely looks like an amateur did it.

Thanks @cstav86
I contacted Cool Cruisers. They were very nice and said they have not had anyone complain about it before. They are willing to take it back but I am losing shipping each way. But I would rather have a correct one.
Cruiser Corps and Specter off Road headliners both have sewn corners.

I would absolutely take the hit and get the sewn corners, the quality of cruiser you put out in the market is too nice to wing it.

I have a reputable upholstery shop I have used. I am wondering if they could sew the corners. But if not cut right then I am really in trouble. Think I answered my own question. I contacted Cruiser Corps. Free shipping, comes rolled in box, corners are sewn.

@jjenloe are you saying what you bought has the foam backing? By the other post it made sound like the seller responded he didn't have any foam backed headliner.
yes, what i bought had foam backing. I simply searched "white boat 1/8 foam back vinyl " on Ebay and picked the vendor that had what I wanted.

So what dimensions did the headliner come in?

Wish this headliner didn't need replacing. It has that seventies vibe.

I did not buy a headliner from eBay. I bought the material and made my own. I forgot exactly how much I bought. I think it was 4 yards.Just measure the only issue doing it this way is that you will have a seem in the middle because of the dimensions it comes in. It is 52" wide, which is not wide enough for the top. So my wife sewed a seem in the middle and made it 104" wide, which is way wider than the roof. Sew it a way the roll bar hides the seem.
This video is where I got the idea

I guess I'm confused, I thought the OEM also had a seam, but I guess that's not the case? Well the CCOT one does have a seam, however, I think it looks good even with that seam.
