If so, please tell the Jackass in the Silver FJ with the ARB and Black wheels that was driving OFF of the trail passing us shooting rocks at us that he is a COMPLETE moron and is the reason we get a bad name.

We were there on our bikes when we saw the FJ caravan pass, most were polite and waved and one jackass had to be a hero and drove out of his way to shoot pebbles at us and destroys lots of live vegetation. I hope whoever is in charge of the club/group that he was with gives him a good talking too!

I wish i would have bumped into him at the gas station to show him my avatar and give him a tongue lashing!

If you happen to be reading this, your a Moron and will get yours someday! I hope next time you pull a moronic stunt like that you hit a large rock behing one of the bushes you mow over and cave in your oil pan!

Don't know if it was the same group I was with running Lower Coyote Canyon or not Kevin. The folks I was with were extremely mindful of treading lightly.
Post something up on adventure4x4.net. That's where the group I went with orgaized.

What an Asshat.

When we find the culprit we'll beat em' senseless and leave em' to rot in the desert.

Seriously though.....thanks for the headsup. Did you notice what other type of vehicles were with this guy or was it all FJC's? We'll discuss this with the driver when we figure it out and maybe send them over for an apology. See ya.

85 SA Toy posted a link to your thread here over on adventure4x4.net just before I was going to Kevin. Interestingly enough, there's a pic of me going up Coyote Canyon with an FJ in the background strikingly similar to the one you describe, just in a different area of the park and looking like he's not parked appropriately.

When did your incident occur Kevin? We were on Lower Coyote Canyon from about 9:30 am until around 3-4 pm Saturday 1/6/07.

I took the liberty of doing that... Gotta get an apology from the guy that did that!

That guy needs a can of

There were a couple XTERRA-ABLES out at Mule canyon 2 weeks ago that just about ran my cruiser off the road. I laughed my arse off when one of them ran over a 2 foot boulder cause he thought he was a Trophy Truck. Im sure that hurt.

F-that noise.

Brent-

Pretty sure this is Baja FJ, he was running with the group of all Silver FJC's.

As others have previously said on this thread, we are terribly in awe at this occurance. Those of us at Anventure4x4 are currently trying to work up a run to actually clean up and repair Lower Coyote Canyon. They even performed some trail repair while on that run. Key people on the forum are organizing and having discussions with the rangers as we speak. We in no way promote the type of behavior mentioned here. That goes against EVERYTHING Adventure4x4 is about. We're about Just Good Trails and wheelin' in a family oriented environment where ALL are welcome. When the Trail Boss finds out and sees this thread I'm sure action will be taken.

Again, from all of us at the Adventrue4x4 site, our apologies.

Were you in Occotillo or Anza Borrego?

Not alot to repair from what I saw. In fact. there were too many rocks piled in some areas, making progress almost too easy. Jeez, never figured I'd be saying that!

No apologies necessary from the run organizers or owners of the adventure4x4 board. Those of us that post both places know what we here on mud and those on adventure are all about, and it's certainly not tearing up the beautiful earth we've been blessed with.

Do post up when and where for clean up with the state rangers. Lots of us would help depending on the weekend.

A great way to get trails closed down.
Track down that knucklehead... the damage will stay there for a long time.

Kevin needs a few rocks flung at him every once in awhile so no problem there ;)

j/k Kevin hehe

I thought Kevin was the way he was because he HAD had a few rocks flung at his head and they stayed! :flipoff2:

We do need a bonfire to roast this guy when we find him tho.

hey guys that's my photo that you have posted. The silver FJ in the background was in our group. We were coming down the rock gardens as group 3 was coming up. we didn't really have any room to turn around and although most of us had room to pull over, he didn't really have any clearance from what I can remember. He wasn't wheeling off trail, he was getting it out of the way to let another group through.

He's running mojave's with no arb bumpers.

It was not him then, this one DEFINITELY had an ARB Bullbar in the Front and a Hi Lift on his rack.
