Trying to source the above to put into my Turbo Diesel.

If anyone knows where there might be one for sale i'd appreciate it.

I have never even seen one and have no idea where to find one or anything useful to add, but I have to say that is on of the Coolest things I have ever seen.

Dang NA market. Just another example of how we were attached to another plane, wrapped helically around an axis.... "Screwed"

IIRC, they were only on the 22RET engines over here. Other than finding one from somebody parting out such a vehicle - eBay, craigslist, or such - I'm not sure where you'd find one.

eBay or junkyard. They are extremely rare tho. I found a digital gauge cluster for in a Cressida in a pull-a-part in Atlanta once. It was just dumb luck tho. I just happened to be walking by and saw it.

^ I think this is true. I remember my buddy had a dash like that in his turbo 4Runner and it stopped working, I seem to remember it was a sensor that fried and he wasn't able to get it anymore, or maybe it was uber expensive. He gave up and went to an SR5 dash.

I may be wrong, but I think you need all the matching senders to make it work. Sam, any word on that???

I just looked through some of the sensors in the catalog and it looks like they use the same part numbers as the SR5. I believe the difference is in the guages themselves. And, yes if you were looking for a new replacement part for the gauges I'm pretty sure you would be SOL.

Sam , does your catalog mention the turbo-diesel srx. ?

Make sure you have an oil pressure gauge sender, and not the idiot light sender. That'll mess up an SR5 dash, I bet it will do the same to the digital dash..

So on an SR5 truck you don't need the idiot light sender? I am replacing all the senders while building a new motor for my truck and when I had Sam check for my VIN he said it had it listed. Just curious.

The senders for the gauge vs the light are different. Swapping in an instrument cluster with a gauge while using the sending unit for the light will fry the gauge.

U can see the dash in action on this vid.

It showed both under your VIN. I was kinda wondering that myself after reading about it in this thread. Have you looked at the current one to see if it has both or one or the other? You can send back one if you don't need it of course.

Sorry for the slight thread derail...

I would buy that to drive. You think he'd take a check :-)

I like the scalable fuel gauge. I think it was an old Nissan Patrol a friend had years ago that had a similar setup with two analog gauges - the normal one from full to empty and then a second one from a quarter tank to empty that was the same sweep as the normal one.
