To make things more interesting, i find only one big peice to it about 30 feet away from the truck in my front yard.... god only knows what happend to it but now i want a replacement... MY dad bought this 4Runner brand new in 1989, and it has had that deflector on it since new (replaced once after a front end collision. I i need to get another one becuasei think it gives it distinct styling.. anyone happen to know if Toyota made these or if they are all aftermarket? and if so, anyone know of one i can buy that looks just like this one? thanks!

you can go to your local autozone or similar and ask them to see a catalog. It looks like a bugflector by auto ventshade but could be an EGR brand as well. Any how its the first gen design for that model yota. Should run you around 59.00 bucks, Good luck:cheers:

Distinctive styling? Since you're going to have to remove it anyway. Why don't you remove it, drive it for a couple of weeks and see if you still want one...just a suggestion. You can always put one back on then.

By the way, welcome to Mud!

Yeah, just take it off. You will notice a millage increase of fifteen to thirty miles per tank of gas.

Or spend good money on a replacement which will keep your millage the same as your used to. :crybaby:

Hmmm! aftermarket windscreen part for a twenty year old truck. Good luck. someone might still have one on their shelves however.
