Here is all I found on them, Part # 2517, not to be confused with the Brass or Plastic, this is a complete all aluminum radiator. Cost is on average $450 for this "Performance Radiator"
It is a 3 Row Design and notes to be used w/ Mini, 13psi Radiator Cap

Yeah, it would be hard to get much better performance than the factory rad, its a very big system. The big pro would be the all metal construction could be welded if you ever had a leak.

FYI - JB weld will repair a plastic radiator BTDT

I had the first high quality big $$$ Rod Davis aluminum radiator (a beautiful piece of art) in my 80 with no notable increase in performance, I now use Koyo A1918
Why did you go back to the plastic OEM style?

I have never seen one hold, no matter how it was prepped or applied. And it doesn't seal the end tank to metal crimp where they often leak. I would be interested in hearing how you do your JB weld though if you have a technique that works I would be all ears.

I did nothing special other than following the instructions. I use JB weld Quick 15min set up

Link on the repair - 5 day trip ends early

Unfortunately all pictures were deleted but by reading you will get the idea.

To add to the linked thread the JB never failed after a few years and 1000,s of solo miles all over the western US

I bought 6 radiators 6 years ago from WORLDPAC

I used 2 in my trucks and still have 2 left and the other two I sold to a few mud members here cause theirs sprang a leak and no one was open during the weekend!

Yeah, Worldpac still has them in stock in the all metal. I think I am going to just hold off and have an aluminum one made when I have it torn down for the turbo build. I hit 222 last weekend and stayed above 217-222 the whole 120+ mile drive.

Check your fan clutch! I bought one from Toyota and it still hit 217-225 and Joey told me to mod the fan clutch and have never seen 209 and above since.

My cousin had a Ron Davis radiator on his jeep and ended up selling the jeep cause the shop that did the engine swap could not figure out why it was over heating all the time! When I get my jeep I am keeping it stock motor! No fancy hemi swaps or GM pos swaps for me

Already has a blue modded clutch

Jeeps get more barbies

LC gets old people's attention and they come up to you talking out of their asses about fj40s and how much they miss it. I'm thinking to myself how do I get rid of this guy without disrespecting him!

I installed a 2517 in May. I am very impressed wih it's materials and construction. IIRC, I saw what looked like brass when the top tank got scratched though. You mentioned it being all aluminum.
Can't remember where I bought mine but it was $420.

That's the part I want clarification on because on some sites it lists it as an all aluminum but then on others I see the same part number and it shows up in the description as brass. I sent an email to CSF for clarification this morning, still waiting for a reply.
