I'm working on getting my lift in (finally!). I got the front done yesterday and screwed around with the rear a bit before calling it a day. Holy s*** those shock bolts are a pain in the ass.

I'm considering cutting my frustration in half by doing the same to the OEM shocks since I plan to toss them anyway. Has anyone used a saws all to just cut through the top bushings/bolt? I'm thinking about cutting it there with a saws all and then using a cutting wheel to make the bolt short enough that I can easily remove it from the top.

I can't see any issue cutting through the shock, though I haven't done it myself.

Here's the technique @OTRAMM uses (@4:14):

For LC, Use 22mm wrench through the wheel well, between body and frame.

For an LX, you cant do this...

Done - rear was actually much easier than I was expecting. That video @TeCKis300 posted was exactly what I needed to see. I think I was done in just a couple of hours.

Managed to bind up the CV boot on the front yesterday though. Still trying to sort that out.
