We still have not found my buddy one. He is the one looking for the 80....got excited about the 100 on CL that ended up having a major mileage discrepancy from real life and Carfax.
He is all over Craigslist every hour. That one popped last night and he has a meeting with the guy at 4:00 today.
I have a few things for sale, now:
- Bestop Softopper for a Toyota Tacoma. Came off my 04, but will fit any 89 to 04 6' bed. I don't think it'll work with an 05' and up or Double Cab Tacos. Little less than 2 years old. Asking $350
Bestop Supertop for Toyota Tacoma
- E-Locked 4Runner rear axle - currently complete with 4.30 gearing. I bought it for the axle shafts. Asking $400 for the third or $600 complete.
- Still have the Taco 16s

The 100 deal is a bit shady. Carfax checks as a one-owner in the Houston area but the maintenance was all done in Arizona.
Also, the guy in Jackson has had it since December and has not registered it.
Put the meeting off until Friday because he needs to "drive it" this week but also said he has not registered it because he does not drive it.

Sounds more than fishy to me.....report back so I can laugh at the explanation for having all maintenance done in Arizona when it's located in Houston......unless he runs illegals in it
but that could mean it has some great hidden storage compartments for gear!!!!
