You guys going on any runs or know of any planned runs in the near future? I am eager for another outing...

Speaking of which, wouldn't it be cool to have a forum for meetings/gatherings where runs could be coordinated easily on the site.... One of the mountain bike sites I visit does that.

I heard mountain bike ? What do you ride? I have a Specialized Enduro Expert and Marin East Peak. One is my free ride and the other is an XC. They are collecting dust and used to take the dog on high speed curb jumping outings for now.

Lets meet up at Fully Loop and tear it up. I am so out of shape but it's fun!

Fellow MTBers, cool! Turner 5spot and Flight 29er Single Speed here.

I am planning to head out to AB next Tuesday (12/21) for the day.

After Christmas there are a couple of us heading out to the Jacumba area (Table Mtn / Elliot Mine)

I'm heading to San Felipe this weekend. Anyone want to roll with us?

I have a specialized stump jumper fsr (XC).. older 2004 anniversary model. I do road too (Felt F75). I am more of an endurance rider since my skills downhill suck bad (beginner). Nearly broke my shin going down san juan but I did climb it first. :hillbilly: I go every weekend and usually with a couple other friends so I am always game Saturday mornings/afternoon.

Cool, got to work Tuesday. Is the Jacumba run a day thing or a camping trip? Don't know anything about it.

That would be sweet but I can only do a day run this weekend. Have fun.

I was in San Felipe a few weeks ago. There is nothing like sitting on the malecon, eating shrimp tacos, drinking a beer and watching the fishermen coming in on the tide.

Enjoy!!

I'm already craving Rice and Beans with a michelada.

It would be nice to plan an overnighter in Jan or Feb. Maybe Calico, Anza???

If i still have the cruiser then I'd love to get back to Calico.

Rice and Beans was our first stop!! Except, with a Sol beer! And Rice and Beans makes a killer Margarita. Not only does it taste great, it will kick your ass!

Be sure to hit up all the small sidewalk taco joints. We did not find one, we did not like! And if you have a sweet tooth; the Best Ever churros can be found at at the entrance of the Malecon and across the street from the Costa Azul Hotel.

I'm all about those churros. Best I have ever had. Our favorite taco stand is Tacodile. I don't care how full I am we always stop there.

We need a SoCal 80s run to SF one of these days.

There is a "SoCal" Dez rally thread starting up on Expo that might interest the group. I hope to attend and am thinking it might be a good location for a SoCal 80's trip??

STAY AWAY form the bacon wrapped hot dog vendors. That killed me on the last night of my Baja 1,000 trip and kept giving back for a week!!!!
