Any divers here?

I dropped something in Huntington Harbor. It's in about 8 feet of water, 15 feet from shore. I need help retrieving it.

you could probably just free dive for it with a snorkel and mask from walmart.

Yeah, I gave that a try today. But I'm not too good at swimming or diving. All that I used was a borrowed mask.

If you've got a scout that lives near me, all he needs is a mask. It's probably in a 5x5 area about 15 feet from shore in about 8 feet of water. I'll give him $20.

You could also try one of the local bottom cleaning guys; the going rate for recovery seems to be about 20 bucks for a free dive, 50 and up if it is a SCUBA search.
