Finally able to mostly use my right hand (at least enough to do this) and had the day to my self. Installed my Huracan storage plate. I used a jigsaw as it didn’t throw as much debris and was a lot easier to make precise cuts. Instead of taking forever to file down the edges, I used a flapper wheel and it worked great! Once the edges were all smooth, I sprayed them with two coats of black paint (nothing special). Once that dried o to the hardest part in my opinion. The god damned sound deadener!!! Took me a while to get the fit right and everything in its place. It turned out ok. Once the deadener was in I installed the lid and hardware. I was able to clear out my center console and free up some area m the back for my recovery strap.

With the sound deadener installed, the tailgate makes zero noise. It’s so nice! The tailgate weights about 10lbs more but it’s well worth it.

Received my Iceco JP50 today. Was looking forward to plugging it in and testing it out, but since UPS can’t read the box and left it on my porch upside down I have to wait a few hours until it settles. The outside of the box was a little damaged but the inside box was fine.

I made up a cardboard template for the back storage area so that I can mount a slide onto it. The deck will be approximately half the width from wheel well to wheel well as I plan on getting a drawer system on the passenger side. I’m just not sure if I should go 1/2” or 3/4” thickness.

I’ve considered getting a fridge many times but the Yeti’s continue to do what I ask. I think @Marco Lau has an Iceco. If so, his was the first Iceco I had heard of.

I didn’t think I’d ever get one since I have a nice 70qt ice chest as well. But once I add enough ice I can’t use all of the space. Plus once it’s loaded down, I can’t lift it from the 80 by myself. This will save me a bunch of space in the cruiser and make things easier to access. We’ll see how it all goes soon though.

You will never go back.

I ordered some 10ga wife to run from my aux fuse block to the port that I installed in the rear of the cargo area. Should be wired up next weekend and ready to use the Iceco!

using a cardboard template, I cut out a piece of 3/4” plywood to fit in the cargo area to mount the fridge slide to. I opted to keep the hooks so that I could still strap things down if need be. Next I need to get the slide so that I can figure out where exactly to mount it. Then I will paint it with textured paint. The reason the deck only covers half the cargo area is because I will be adding a drawer on the passenger side later. Pretty happy with how it turned out.

I finally got around to changing out the steering shaft seal. The old one was pretty blown out! I wish I wouldn’t have done this today. The bolt to the collar snapped off before anything even started getting tight:/

Now I get to remove the entire shaft from the box and tag joint and attempt to remove the snapped bolt. I even made sure the bolt was in the groove of the shaft :(

Removed the steering shaft and removed that snapped off bolt with success. It is one of the best damn feelings!

Cleaned up the threads with a tap and then reinstalled.

Received my Iceco fridge slide in the mail today. I’ll be hitting up the hardware store to get some bolts to secure it to the mounting deck. This thing is beefier then I expected and the slide is smooth as butter!

Installed the slide using some 5/16 wooden Tee-nuts. I messed up at first and didn’t drill the holes perfectly so I had to drill some extras to make them work. The mistake can only be seen when the slide is extended. I’m still happy with the turnout and function. Next is the drawer for the passenger side. Should ship out this week.

Got my land shark single drawer delivered the other day. I put it together today. Super high quality wood and hardware. Everything lines up so damn well! Well worth the money and the wait. @cruzerDave . I have to cut about 1/2” off my fridge slide deck for the drawer to fit perfectly. I’ll end up making my own anchor bracket to use the factory 3rd row seating anchors instead of the supplied ratchet straps. I’ll end up carpeting the exterior with marine carpet and using something to like the interior with before I use it.

Sanded down the box with 320 to get it smooth. Then I cut about 1/2” off the fridge mounting deck. My brother had a couple pieces of aluminum scrap that worked perfectly to use as anchors for the drawer. I secured them to the floor of the cruiser using the factory bolt holes for the 3rd row seats.

Next I’ll get some carpeting and cover the outer portion of the box and find something to line the inside of the drawer with.

Wry happy with the turnout.

Got the interior and exterior of the drawer lined with some carpet that I found at Lowes. Happy with the outcome. I’m thinking of covering the slide deck with it as well.

Took the fridge slide deck out today and carpeted it to match the drawer. It looks a lot better back there now.

32” exactly.

today I picked up my rig from the shop. My wife took it in to get tinted. She had all of the windows minus the windshield tinted to 20%. It’s a huge upgrade from the factory peeling tint that was on there. And it will keep the temps down and help my fridge work less is the summertime.
