do you need to lengthen the control arms? it seems like the wheel base is shorter now.

Thinking the same

Make your rear lower control arms 3/4-7/8" longer, and you'll recenter your axle, and correct your rear pinion angle at the same time.

Drove it around the block and got a bad vibration. The u-joint is binding at the axle. So it looks like I need rear upper adjustable arms so I can rotate the axle up to decrease the angle. Anybody have any spares or recomendations? Looking at these:

and

I also need to adjust my draglink to straighten my steering wheel back to center. Some cipher'n with pathagorms theory will give me an idea on how long it need to be. And they said all that math I learned in school would be of no use.

OMG those arms are expensive!! I think you could build your own for half what Manafre and Slee are charging.... You do not have to make them out of 1/2in wall DOM they are just uppers. I think its time for someone to start selling 80 parts that are more affordable...

I know it's not the current topic of discussion, but I was wondering if you could elaborate on why you needed to swap to an F-body oil pan?

I'm hoping to retain the truck pan for oiling reasons, and wondered what the reasons were.

The camaro pan has a smaller sump and therefore would clear front axle better. Knowing what I know now, that I had to do a lift, I would not do this. If you are going to do a swap, check your clearance to see if you need the pan.

Goodies got here now need to put them on, pics to follow. Why the bigger tie and relay rods? I'm going to be putting 37s on. So when you go bigger, go bigger everywhere else.

Steering is on and the steering wheel is centered. On to the next one.

still fighting some leaks because I can't get my welder tip in some spots. I will probably have to run it by a muffler shop so that they can put it on the lift. I just can't get my body to bend in the needed ways to get a good weld.

The flowmaster is not much louder than stock.
