I've been considering a RTT for a while and finally pulled the trigger ! Adam Tolman, aka Box Rocket here on MUD, was a great inspiration and also a wealth of knowledge when I started my research. Since I'm pretty close to Tepui, I was able to rent a tent over the July 4th break and 'take it for a spin' ! My mind was made up then since everything worked as advertised. Tepui also let's you apply your rental charges to the price of the tent, another great kicker.
This last Friday, I picked up my new Kukenam Camo and Saturday morning the GF and I set out for Ocean Cove Campground, about 30 mins north of Jenner, CA, for two nites of camping. It rained pretty hard both Sunday and Monday morning and we stayed bone dry. We even had a few guests in the RV park come look over this crazy tent structure and I think one couple might actually be heading to Tepui for a purchase.
