I went to a car show looking for clutch ideas. And saw this. Manual brake master cylinder with what looks like a 2000-ish camaro clutch master cylinder. I think this is the route I'm taking.

Looking at examples of low cars. I need to figure out suspension ang exhaust routing as I do the LS swap.

Now to decide if i do air bags or stick with coil springs. If i go coil springs I'm guessing i need to go way up on the spring rate. Maybe air is the right choice?

I had to do a few click and saves in your gallery. I like black kinda a lot.
All I could find was a few cool pics. ...no build threads. I think they make sharp looking cars with a few tweaks.

Some have to be on air.

I think I may back away from the stupid-low look. I took the flatbed to a car show last week and feel like I got mugged. Rough ass interstates are hard on an old body. I might learn to like living the country club life with the soft suspension.

The old engine is out.

The new one going in will be a challenge. The GTO pan fits the hole, but it puts the motor 6 inches forward of where I want it.

I'm going to have to do some cutting and welding.

Wow, that sure is too far forward. I am wanting to move all that weight as far back as I can get it.

I've been slacking with the updates.

I've hacked the heck out of it trying to get the engine where it needs to be. I will be adding at least two (maybe 3) sections of 1.5 x 1.5 stacked on top of each other and plating in all of the open sections.

I also bought a set of 4th gen camaro pedals, a Detroit Speed clutch "bracket" to weld to the firewall, and a Detroit Speed "camaro" clutch master cylinder. ....to hopefully get a functioning clutch pedal inboard of the wiper motor.
