I can't see anyway for a mechanical fan to fit with the 6BT.
Is that the old or new style intake tube? I think it looks taller than mine.
It's is supposed to work with the stock cummins mechanical fan and no shroud.
Here is a side view for reference regarding intake horn. Remember I have 1" body lift.
Do you know if duiser used Dustin's engine mounts, or do they fab their own. If they fab their own, the engine positioning maybe different from Dustin's.
They fabricated custom mounts. I'll go snap a photo of how close the engine sits against the firewall to compare to the one showing gdctaco's rear coolant inlet here posted earlier.
Seems about the same to me.

Soooo close
It's hard to see but it restricts the full movement of the throttle
It's also right tight against the fuel filter, might be easier to relocate the fuel filter to the firewall

Thats the proper solution. I blew my new conversion hose so ordered fittings to convert to -6 jic as well.Power steering pump fitting to -6 jic compression fitting for those who don't want to use dustins idea

You blew up the hose Dustins sending out?
No. I built my truck without a kit.
Point is, convertin to jic fittings ia the best way to do it.
Dont forget the hood has a curve to it.
How long till we see some driving videos?
