So the cork soaker sent me an air box, with no element!
Which is useless because I can't start/drive the fxxxing truck! Until he sends my wiring harness back that I sent him in late September!

Has anybody recently bought a kit and received anything?

I got a torque converter and an airbox (As you know). Also, no good to me.

thank god its dark out cause I'm pretty sure the fire department would've been called.
I've never seen a motor smoke like that, there's no coolant in it so it's not that.
could be the fuel but it's fresh, has a new fuel filter.
it's a lot colder out now than when I ran the engine before.

did you swap out injectors or do any fueling mods?

I did KDP and front crank seal.
doing some reading on the cummins forums and it looks like it's a combo of cold start and air in the system.

cold start would blow a bunch of smoke, I assume since you don't have the radiator hooked up that you didnt let it get to operating temp.
