Everything looks good. The shocks, the tranny, the transfer case; it's coming together into a nice package. Fuel line should be on the way.

OK so that is it sorry for the jumble but I have somemore pic's to post but once I get them off the other computer I will get them up. I hope you all out there didn't think I was taking it easy!:D:flipoff2:

Wow, wow, wow... that's a whole lotta red eh.... Looks veeeewy nice Randy...... Any chance you can post pics of the fuel lines...?
Thanks brah !!

Looking good!

I just ordered all my gear from Downey. Jim was great. He talked to me for about an hour. It is pretty scary looking there in the garage, but Jim made it seem like not too big a deal..

Dude, that's exactly what I said when I spoke with him...but a day later and I was scratching my head (what did Jim say ??? )....

Cool..Thanks for the update !!!!

Yes, it is looking really nice. Dr. Randy, I can't wait till mine gets it's new organs transplanted...

I can't wait to get the engine set. I will have some pic's of the fuel line install coming up. I am just waiting on some hose. That will go real quick. As for the rest of it...Looking like an engine again. Now that my computer works the updates will be better.

Looking at the pics below and seeing how much that header stick out...makes me think that I should have no issues with my LS2 Exhaust Manifolds fitting with in the frame rails !!!
thanks for all the details and info on this thread it sure makes my swap go a wholelotta easier !!

The outside edge of the header is exactly 4 1/2 " from the block. I don't think you will have an issue. You may need to adjust your offset a fraction but it won't hurt anything.

where is the exit of the ls2 exhausts? will it be too far rearward?

Since you have an Auto tranny mounted there will be plenty of room for the downdrop and the cross over under the tranny. And thanks Rover how goes yours?

This motor-transmission-transfercase is turning out to be out of sight. Red has always been my lucky color, and "Iaintscared" took it to a new level!! The boys at Local 1377 will appreciate!!

The Surprise!

Just in case

Hey all, Glad you like it. And Frank I know your work (BTW Looking very SWEET)...Got to keep it clean and original. I don't want anyone thinking that this is easy!:D I hope you all enjoy and I will be posting up pic's for the fuel lines and the last of the touch up before I set her in the new home. Just think in a few weeks I will have to come up with something new so you won't get bored with my work.

That is great. You're making it hard not to put the truck on a flatbed down to your place.
