Just bought a set of those lights from Amazon for that exact intention! Did you thread the hole in the bracket or is there a nut back there?

I can see making a little plastic offset piece to stick on over this hole to keep water/mud from entering. The tires can fling as you can see from the chunks taken out of the paint on the mirror.View attachment 928825
How? Short of taking the door off, not sure how to accomplish that. I had considered a set of multi-circuit contacts that mount in the jamb (see link below) but they only work when the door is closed and you still need to drill a hole.Drill a hole and add another rubber boot. At least that's my plan.![]()
The truck side is the tricky part. There's no easy way to get up in there and drill a hole through the doublewall of the jamb. What would you recommend tool-wise to accomplish what you suggested?Yeah PogoPins. We used them on the design of the RED EPIC's accessories and yes, only works when connected. If you have the door panel off, which is dead simple, then you can drill the hole from inside. I wouldn't even second guess it.
LOL, well, that would be easier. Same plan on the driver's side too then I suppose? I wish I would have bought a bucket of foresight when I started working on this rig.You may not like my answer but I was going to be installing my snorkel at the same time and removing the fender so that I could route wires where I wanted to and safely.

Do you have the part number for the OEM rubber wire loom? Looks like I'm going to pull the fenders off when the brackets get installed. From the pics I've seen, that will be the easiest way to go.
