That is a great looking paint job. You can really tell you put some time into it.

Thanks Stevo, I got a couple of imperfections and a little wave in the quarters but, for my skills and a paint job without a booth... NO COMPLAINTS HERE... I had fun and that's what matters to me.

It's an interesting black color Pete.. yes kinda a grayish black. I didn't like the glossy (too shiny) or the flat (too dull) black... So took the satin road.

But, it looks like that Duplicolor cast iron black that Trapper posted up a few threads back might be that middle of the road color as well...

I'm enjoying seeing your progress on Marley and applaud you for your body work. You've done some great work!

Are you planning drawers in the back of the cruiser? If so what have you got up your sleeve for them?

Thanks boots, yes I am looking at building rear drawers.

Plan on full width x full depth drawers. One wide (driver side), one open (center), and one small (pass side)--left to right orientation. Looking to use HD ball bearing slides, fanlight latches, D-rings on top, build two sets of removable slider platforms for the top of drawers. One for fridge and one for a misc storage box (ActionPacker, Pelican, etc..) Make it completely removable, just in case I need to haul something if I don't want to latch on the trailer...:grinpimp:... Maybe a few more bells and whistles but, until I get to building it can't tell ya.

Nothing on Marley except for a few cool little items from my dad.. It's cool as H**L that he's 73 and loves my cruiser, but he buys me things like these for it.

Maglite w/ holder clamps and a pair of shallow mount Rockford Fosgate 10" subs... These will fit perfect in the cargo panel area

Love the old fart.... Oh and the Cobra 75 WXST handheld CB..

I'm off tomorrow and plan on starting on the re-trim, A/C, and hopefully my glass guy gets the gaskets in for the windshield, back glass, and installs the sliders... But, not looking to good on that :crybaby:

Dude. I leave this thread alone for a few days and you increase by two pages.

Now I see why! That color is sweet!

I painted my engine block Cast Coat Iron with the exact paint Trapper posted. I love it.

I want a new sub. I sold my two 12" subs a while back. I got good money for them, plan on going with one 10". I'm gonna look into that sub model you got. Looks nice.

Wow dude this thing is looking awesome!!! Love how rich the color on the body looks and really, its a cruiser so a few imperfection and a little wave in the panels ain't hurting nothing!

Interested to see how you mount the subs in the back. I was thinking of doing the mod to add some mids in the back doors and then do either a single or dual 8" shallow mount subs in the rear panels. Only prob for me is that mine will be a dog hauler so I will have to come up with some grill/speaker protector for them.

My glass guy didn't get the gaskets in from Precision so instead I started putting the trim and lights back on Marley today. It's coming together nicely. Got all the lights functional and installed the LED back ups and side markers bulbs.

Forgot to black out the headlight rings so, got those under prime and satin paint now.. :D

Also, got the new exterior window felts on. Liking the NO CHROME on the windows..:grinpimp:

Plan on getting the headlights installed tomorrow morning and maybe finish the paint on bumpers, sliders, and roof rack.

Then I'll pull the seats and start on the FatMax sound deadening mat.

I'm just happy I found them.. I remembered putting them in a drawer so I wouldn't misplace them throughout the build along with the 62 mirror gaskets etc...

Hey, SLOW DOWN buddy, you're make'n the rest of us look like slackers !! he,he................:grinpimp:

Sorry Pete.... I didn't connect everything to the new air cleaner for the snorkel or get the headlight washers plumbed in and working...

OH SH*T.. I did get the washers working ...

HEE HEE!! Anyhow I got a long weird work week because of the 4th but, I'll try and keep a steady pace anyhow..

Also, the :princess: got a McCullough steam cleaner for her birthday and said that the engine bay, back seat, and carpets..

Here's a pic of the steam cleaner.. It had really good reviews so time will tell.
