Just a reminder, unlike some events, we DO NOT require a vehicle inspection prior to heading off onto the trails. Therefore it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY” to make sure your Land Cruiser is up to the task. However if something unexpectedly happens we won’t leave you stranded.View attachment 2726122
I’ve gotten several emails asking about trail communications.
First and foremost, cellular coverage inside of the park is basically non-existent so cellphones are NOT a reliable option.
Both HAM and GMRS have proven reliable on the trails although neither are required. At a minimum, we plan to have communications in the front, middle and rear of each lineup in case there are issues.
We’ve had a number of folks bring dogs so I would say yes but to play it safe I would call the campground atAre dogs welcome at this event? What about at the camp ground?
