Very nice truck! Did you build the console between the front seats yourself?

Andy,
I just saw this thread of your rig and it looks awesome. I'm in the process of doing a saginaw conversion and It's going to be very similar. Where did you buy the gearbox brackett? and also the pump brackett?, because I also have the F style air cleaner assy.

Is it possible for you to send me close pics where the relay rod and tie rod joins? i'm asking you that because i bought the 4+ tie and relay rod the Man a Fre sells which are thicker and I'd like to know if they'll rub each other

Thanks

Alvaro

I used the orangefj45's bracket. I repositioned the box very different from how the bracket was made. I also had to make slightly longer standoffs to get the box end to clear my shackles as I am not running a shackle reversal like many.

My pump bracket is a 2F smog pump bracket. It is not too hard to modify it to mount the Saginaw pump. I am using a Volvo pulley. The tensioner bracket is a universal one I found online, but I had to put the offset bend in it.

I will have to snap a picture of the tie rod / drag link for you as I don't have one now, but I can't imagine this would be a concern as mine is not even close.

Here is a picture from the other side....

Andy,

Thank you very much. I'll wait for those pics. Is it possible for you to take closer pics of the shackles and the gearbox. I'm not running shackle reversal either.

I already have a picture of that - but still too lazy to pull the truck outside today so it is light enough to snap a new picture ;-)

I had the truck on vacation last week and developed a carb issue. Engine would suddenly not accelerate but would idle fine. I was able to get back to camp by running at full choke. Back at camp I did an Oklahoma rebuild. This solved my issue - temporarily....

A few days later it started dying at idle but would run great otherwise.

I took off the carb (Trollhole) tonight and took it apart for a cleaning. I found what looked to be a BUG in the slow jet!

Waiting for a new gasket to put it back together and try it out. The old gasket was in 100 pieces by the time I got it off.

Happy to say that the Cruiser(s) made it into a few more vacation pictures!

Took a trip to the exhaust shop last month to get the exhaust raised so I can fit the factory skid plate. I need something beefier, but this is better than nothing for now.

A generous amount of fluid leaking from the TCase - I didn't realize how much until I put the skid plate on there.

I took some serious shortcuts on the rear of the tub back when I did the initial body work. I was in a rush to get done and knew I should have done a better job. 6-7 years later it is starting to show. Could be worse!

Did I mention I have a wonderful wife? Last year's birthday present was a new dash, this year was side emblems.
