Anyone have more info on this? I went to the site listed on the plate but can't find anymore information. Thanks!

Nowhere. Jcardona1 has a thread with more pics and speculation... search "make this for me"

Ive been speaking.. kinda with a company that makes these light and grill set ups. I wanna try and import them but having a hard time convincing and communicating with them. I would love to see these on some Cruisers state side.

I was emailing back and forth with them awhile back to see if they would sell a conversion, but they said a guy does them on a case by case basis on each vehicle. He said the only way to get one would be to ship your vehicle to him.

@UnderDawg you might have better luck if you set up a yahoo email account and figure out how to make wire transfers from a bank in Japan. I think it can be done through Japan National Bank online, but I might be wrong. Sellers in Japan are very weary of online transactions with people overseas.

Good idea sir. Man I really want these to be here in the states. I want this look for my Cruiser.

Group investment? Die cast plastic grill and headlight trim, oe headlamp mounts? Could be done with original corner markers?

Biggest issue would be making the fenders to accept the 60 series square corner lights. Everything else appears to be directly from a 60...mounting though would be another issue.

ok, so, some guy in Japan figured out how to put 60 parts on the front of an 80.

If that guy could figure it out, why can't we? How hard can it be?

And if we're switching to round lights, why not use the lights from FJC? They'll be brighter and there are even aftermarket options available with projectors or whatever you want available.

I think a creative, enterprising individual with the right tools could do this easily. I'd give whatever support I can offer.

Yeah, some guy in Japan also figured out how to build the entire vehicle better than us....

Yes, the vehicle in question has custom fenders, hood, valence, etc......but could it be done simpler....for sure. Maybe someone could photoshop the grill, headlights onto stock 80 sheet metal to see if it's not butugly.

No, I get the point, the style of the 60 is better than the FJC.
However, I don't understand using old technology when something newer is available and better for safety.

In this case, the 60 and FJC both use round headlamp units. They are approximately the same size. Close enough in size that if the FJC lights can fit, I'd rather have them because the light output is better. If the FJC headlamps can fit in the 60 bezels, I think it is a better idea.

If the entire vehicle is better, why are we talking about modifying it at all? Why does anyone lift their truck, or change the stereo, or add driving lights, spacers, etc...

I'm just saying some guy in a body shop in Japan figured out how to make this work. What makes him better than anyone here? We don't need to import anything. Someone just needs to go out to their garage and do it. TreeRoot made an awesome grille and added louvers to his hood and didn't have to import anything. He just did it.

If someone has some spare time(a valuable commodity these days) it won't be so bad. It isn't rocket science. Hell, these parts were designed with paper drawings and a clay model. I'm more than willing to help brainstorm some ideas on how to execute this and make a mock-up. If I had more time, I'd do it myself.

I would love to travel back in time to when a girl backed into me and her insurance paid for all new front end parts. I would love to do this, but having just put in new depos, updated the grille and valence to the 95-97 style, and having perfect painted fenders while being my daily driver it just doesn't make sense. I can't imagine it being that much more difficult than updating a 92 front end to a 95-97. The fenders would be the most difficult thing with little room for error. Not to mention buying all the parts. Maybe someday...
