Need more details about your rig. You should definitely start with the faq thread at the top of the forum though. Tons of info in there. Just know that Ome rates their lift with specific weight loads in mind. These look like j springs and they'll give around 3" with a decked out fully "armored" 80. If you don't have all of that extra weight, it'll probably lift you 4"+ and mess your Caster all up. If you don't have hd bumpers, winch, etc, you'd probably be better off with their medium lift.

You need a lot more that just springs and shocks for a proper lift. If you just put in 3in springs and shocks it will be a turd.

It is worth noting that the Ironman kits are 20% off right now. They also carry correction plates, steering dampers, all the good stuff to complete your lift. Slee also carries kits that include all the proper fittings.

Additionally, since you mention that you are new to all this, I'll tell you what I learned the hard way, and that is to buy the right modifications the first time rather than just what you have enough for in your pocket right now. Its more expensive in the end to buy the wrong thing before you buy the right thing.

what is wrong with Caster Bushings?
They wear out fast and are much firmer than the stock rubber bushings contributing to a harsher ride. That being said, I run them and they've been ok so far, but I do have plates to replace them at some point.

If I were in your shoes, I would give @cruiseroutfit (Cruiser Outfitters) a call. They carry that same OME lift as well as many more. They can talk you through what components are required and suggested for a smallish lift.

FWIW, I ran an OME 2" for a couple of years with my 315s. It wasn't as nice or fancy as my Slinky setup, but it worked just fine and it's a great bang for your buck setup.

We stock OME, Dobinsons, Slee, SuperPro, SPC and more. We literally have 9 different caster correction solutions on the shelf :D

Call a Land Cruiser specialist and talk your suspension needs over with them. Dont trust Amazon to assemble something as important as suspension. We would love to help @ Cruiser Outfitters!
