Hi,

Does anyone know the size of the bolts that hold the alternator adjustment bracket on? See #1 and 2 in the picture. Thanks.

I have an assembly sitting on the bench at home. I'm out for a bit but can snap a picture or two later on if no one else can help in the interim.

I don't know how much of a help this is, but here's what I have left from installing the Photoman bracket on my truck.

The bolt in the adjuster block is pictured next to the ruler.

The other two I had are installed on the truck.

I'm sure a quick call to Toyota would yield the part numbers you need.

That's my thought too. I don't have my dies at home right now or I'd run it through one.

yes, it’s the other two. the ones that keep the bracket in place. I called the dealership and they could only give me the part number for the adjusting bolt.

Its the same pitch as the other bolts.

I'd just measure the depth of the holes in the crank case (the one in the oil pump cover needs to be sealed) with a wooden dowel and buy a bolt shorter than your measurement.

That or hit up cruiserparts or Beno maybe.

There's another exact thread for this on here. Search for alternator bracket and you should find it.

Otherwise get on partsouq.com to find it. It is not where you might think it would be.

Number 1 in the picture is an 8mm X 1.25 flange nut. It goes on a stud. The other 2 flange bolts (one on which is number 2 in the picture) in the bracket are M8 X 50mm. The thread is 1.25. The upper mount flange bolt is M10 X 90mm thread 1.25.
The heads on M8 bolts from Japan (JIS) are 12mm. If you buy M8 bolts in the US (ANSI/ISO or DIN), the heads are 13mm.
