Is there any quick attach/detach hardware for a fridge or could be adapted (like from McMaster Carr or something?) that is an alternative to the Engel Transit Slide lock? $80-$100 for basically 4x latches on a board seems excessive.

I built my own slide frame but I use the Engel Transit lock to secure the fridge. It wouldn't be too difficult to fabricate a "frame" that bolts to the base of the fridge using the existing holes for the feet. You could leave that "frame" attached permanently and build a mounting bracket (either stationary or as a rolling drawer slide) that the new fridge sub-frame could lock into with pins. Lots of pin options from McMaster Carr. I have seen basically exactly what I described using some weld-in pop pins.

That's good info, thanks.

I've got a good idea if what you mean, but if you know of any pictures that would be awesome.

Craig.
