Rampage Offroad Jeep JK single arm over sized tire carrier. One hand operation, opens with the rear door. No issues. Should have the new spacers dialed in during Christmas vacation. Got lucky on a open box at Amazon for around $78.

This looks like a really great option! That’s a beautiful rig too! I’m trying to find this darn part now with no luck. Thanks for sharing this.

I’m looking more at this option. I’m wondering how it attaches to the door.

It sits lower than other options but doesn’t really look like an issue. I’m running 35s on a 17” wheel. Curious if it will sit too low that it might interfere with the hitch. Any info you can provide would be great!

Sorry for the delayed response.......was dealing with a transfer case/transmission issue. Finally got all the parts in and was able to get her running again.

There's a landing plate that mounts to the door......working on reinforcing the inner door for this now. Worked fine without the reinforcement as 90% of the weight is on the swingarm, but there is a little fore and aft movement (esp when closing the door). I don't notice at all while driving.

The wheel mount is adjustable up, down, in and out. I chose to keep it low for visibility out of the back window. I now have a fulltime video rearview mirror so no issues with blocking the window. Might lift it up a bit.

I have a really great welder who loves projects. I may pull the trigger and see what he can do to maybe sit it up higher. You can certainly pack some washers in the bolt but we’re talking about moving it inches.
It can be adjusted up. There's a bunch of adjustment holes on the swingarm mount for the wheel mount to move up and down on for wheel/tire height. There's also an in and out adjustment for wheel/tire width.

The hardest part is getting the spindle set in the correct spot and orientation in conjunction to the landing plate. The different pivot points of the door vs the swingarm make it difficult to get just right. If you tighten the turnbuckle too much, you don't get a full open before it binds. If you loosen (lengthen) the turnbuckle you get full openings but it sits too far away from the landing plate (when closed) and will vibrate while driving.

Lots of trial and error but fully doable. My buddy and I barely have any welding experience and were able to get a fully functional install done. Just slowly dialing it in. Internal bracing of the door is recommended after having it for a few months now .

Man I can’t thank you enough!!! I love this option. I think I’m going to jump on this for my 460. It’ll require different bumper chopping of course but it looks great! Thank you soooo much! This is an awesome contribution to the community.

And man your rig is stunning!!!

No worries. You can hit me up on Instagram or Facebook if you need more help. Shoot me a dm It's easier to communicate there.

And thanks for the good words. We're slowly getting there. Transmission set me back a little.
