Both styles look very nice. I would think your bottom one will be the favorite...

It is my favorite so far of any manufacture.

We are still working on the options, such as an optional bolt-on hoop/grill guard. However, the factory recovery points can be retained. We were not aware that a CB antenna mounting point on the front would be such a desirable feature, as it doesn't seem to be very popular here in So Cal! But we're here to please our customers!

Well, you can sign me up for one. When will be able to put in an order?

The first 20 are in production and are about 4-6 weeks out. As soon as we set the pricing we will be accepting pre-orders. The optional bolt-on hoops will be a little longer, as will a CB antenna mount.

awesome! i don't have a FJC (i'm a solid axle snob) but if you guys can put a sick turn key SAS kit together like you did with the Taco, i'll have to put another crusier in the stable.

Like the look, but would rather have it welded, not bolted. More crap to shake, rattle, roll, and rust. One piece please!

I'm with you Voodoogirl....I hate anything that can rattle around. Great looking bumper...can I have one now...now....now?

I like the single hoop better then the grill gaurd look. but as soon as the bumper becomes available ill definatly be ordering this one

I like this design but as mentioned by voodoogirl, bolt together wouldn't be an option for me at this time. It would have to be all welded then powdercoated.

If there was a way to have the hoops come out to the edge of the fenders, that would be to my liking as well. Then load the whole thing up with light tabs and internal wiring channels.

mmm, sounds tasty.

i dont have an fjcruiser but wheres the tow points?

personally i wouldnt buy a front bumper without tow points and having the hoops welded to the actual bumper. whats the point of the hoops? looks? if the front guard is to be strong it needs to be triangilated front to back too.

just a critical evaluation from my point of view. not bashing at all. i like it so far

thats the same one i want except in black...landcruisernw.com makes it

If you find out any info please share........

I love this bumper . Two things I think it needs are clevice mounts near winch cable opening and light tabs on the hoop to hang lights down. Factory recovery points will be hard to get a chain on when buried in mud. If I dont have winch.

The benefits of bolt-on hoops:
  • Different styles available which are interchangable (or you may select no hoop or add one at a later date)
  • If damaged, easily replacable
  • More cost effective, lowering retail price
  • Bolt-on hoops provide more surface area for mounting to bumper using 4- 3/8 Grade 8 bolts on each flange, adding strength over welding the end of the tube directly to the face of the bumper
  • Ease of shipping - bolt-on hoop allows our bumper to be shipped via UPS instead of truck freight, potentially saving customers over $100 in shipping costs
Additionally, our hoops have mounting tabs for off-road lights.

The factory recovery points are retained. However, we are also developing optional bolt-on recovery points and CB antenna mounts for our FJ Cruiser front bumpers.

What do they bolt on to? I understand the Grade 8 part ... but the bolt is only as strong as it's weakest part.

yeah , last i checked the bumper is bolted on to the frame! but the bolt on look imo is not a clean look at least not the look i want but thats cool some probably like it.

Ever try to break a Grade 8 bolt? They are REALLY strong!
