More information from South Africa:
1. A dual language (English / Afrikaans) brochure with all technical information for the FJ45RP-K and HJ47RP-K models, so must be end of seventies, early eighties. Toyota only sold the LWB pickup models in South Africa, with some local CKD assembly happening (anecdotally in the MAN factory in Durban)
2. A brochure about the Fairey overdrive system, called the "Toyota Saver", offered through Toyota dealers in South Africa

i believe somebody made that... the cropping is much worse than most bad cropped Toyota ads... the logo does not go with the year of the truck

the oh what a feeling is from the early 80's but the logo did not come out till 89 and in 89 they started to faze out the Toyota jump... this is a play on the Toyota jumping? idk

I do like it however

Yes they assembled TLC trucks in SA... even the last TLC was made in SA in 86'
