So Bill got the WCW running last night. After inspecting the reassembly (which was correct), it turned out it was the distributor. So we have a runner!!! Now the punch list:

More hoses to replace (freaking stupid truck is just dry rotted)
Bleed brakes
Repair/replace rear control arms
Extend vents and what not
Install shower
Exhaust
Make a new tie rod and install
New tires install
Light on the license plate
steering stabilizer
install front driveshaft and make sure the elockers work
Adjust the ebrake
throw together a platform inside
smog it

I'm sure I'm forgetting things, but we're getting down to the home stretch.

Offset by the water minimum. You can make coffee from Lite, right?

I think we might go native...

9 days in Alaska, I think it's a certainty.

Are y'all driving or trailering the WCW (I missed what this stands for) up there?

West Coast Wheeler, or as I like to call it "mission creep", is going to be piloted by Bill accompanied by Dom on the journey up. I am somewhat jealous of this part...

It could...if either one of them were proficient at capturing their adventures.

Slee has/had a white one like that.

It's a top pismo memory for sure, he brought the thing out (with two RTTs) and mobbed it on the dunes for a surf and turf one year.

Most pismo memories fade away in a cloud of @bkcruiser and Dominic's airborne flopping pig destruction, or FJ cruisers getting bent in half when they hit a dune too hard.

Poorly

Either you drive a cruiser or you get off the pot.

:)

totally. there's nothing fast about a mog, and there's nothing light about a mog. getting out of a 416 mog and hopping into a 3FE 80, you'll think you got yourself into an aluminum bodied 400HP race buggy. I've been around a lot of mogs. awesome rigs, but they have their limitations.

how has Charee not seen this yet and made some comment about it?

Progress. The sleeping platform/storage is done. The engine is running and ready for exhaust. Bill rigged up an in cab winch controller wit the OEM antenna switch.

Progress was made on Jrobs yesterday. We are terrible at documenting wit pics. I'll try to get some today. All of the visible vacuum hoses were changed by @beno, the Foxwing awning was installed and some aux power outlets were installed. Rear storage and platform is done. Rooftop tent is going on today.
