Some of those cheeses would probably be perfect with some salmon... Or moose. :)

And Cheesecake... yummm.... ya think a man could live for a week in the field on nothing but cheesecake?

Worth trying. LOL

It certainly works as a meal substitute :) (but not the diet kind I'm afraid )

Matt, you will have to explain that intercooler to me.... looks amazingly compact... Fluid cooled?

I have been pondering how to fit an intercooler on the GM 6.2 w/Gale Banks turbo that I have yo drop into a '40.

Mark...

Yes water to air the first one is on my truck the second on my Navi's 4.2 Diesel, which gained 26% more power and 29% more torque.

More reading here for diesels. Afraid it's a Nissan thing.

Mark,

May I please have a packet sent to : scott.b.smith@smithbarney.com

It looks like I may need to get on to a decision pretty quickly!

Thanks,
Smitty

If you convert it please send me a copy, I have down loaded the patch but it dose not appear to work with office 2000, rgrtheurer@aol.com.

Thanks

Mark - when you get a chance email me the final version of the doc & I'll pdf it. That might be the easiest file format for people to work with.[/QUOTE]

PDF'd it last night. What's you email addy?

I'm at a 20% chance (up from 5%) of being able to do this trip. I should know more in about 2 weeks. How many slots are left? I.e. should I keep pushing or are the available slots full?

Mark

Can you give us a head count of confirmed rigs, i.e. Paid rigs. That way we can have some idea of how many slots are available. My check is in the mail, I just don't know how long it takes for mail to get from texas to alaska. Also if any one is interested I got a quote for shipping my rig to alaska from TX. Is is just one quote but its a starting point.

"My name is Jessica McDaniel from Car-go Automotive Group. I left you a message earlier today regarding the quote(s) you requested to move your vehicle(s). As a reminder, the quote(s) we have given you to move your 2000 toyota landcruiser on an Open carrier from Porter, TX to anchorage, AK is $3,040. " " $1845 sea portion (into Anchorage port) and $1195 land portion Thanks!!"

Might just have to ship it to Seattle and drive it the rest of the way, it all depends on my time constraints.

Thanks Paul

As of this morning, prior to any mail arrival, we have three paid applications, and two more that have been reported to be mailed. A couple more people advising that they are dropping it in the mail "today". I have confidence that another 4 of our applicants are definite, but no indications that they have sent funds yet. We have three people that we invited who have not made a decision yet also.

So... 3 slots definitely taken... Expect that 2 more will be as soon as the mail arrives (counting you in this Paul)... another 2 gone in a couple of days probably. That is seven down.

If the 4 I expect to send money but have not told me that they are yet come through, that takes us to 11 visitors. If our invitees who we have not heard from yet make it, that is 13. a couple over our ideal number once we include the support truck and Kevin Charla and myself making it happen.

But.... we are willing to expand the group a LITTLE... and some of the folks I am expexting may not make it. So... we are still open for applications and I do not expect to turn anyone away

It will be a first if it happens.

Again... actual fees in hand only for 3 people right now with 2 more enroute.

Charla
Received, I am taking a little more time making the trip this time, so maybe I'll have some time going or coming to stop and say Hi.
Thanks
