Made it to Cantwell. Bearings where a little warm the first time I checked them, then here in Cantwell they were definitely cooler, so I think we will be ok.

Looks like the LED light strip uses about .02V every 15min. So safely use for 1.5hrs and still have 12.5V for start

Staying at a lodge for the last night. Tent dried out last night and don’t want to risk it getting wet again tonight before heading home tomorrow where the rain hasn’t stopped for basically the whole month of August.

Time for the photo dump. I wouldn’t post any pictures on the Parks Hwy since I already posted those from last year. Also not too many of the Richardson Hwy or the Glenn hwy.

Day two started cloudy, ended up with rain showers all day. The Denali hwy for about the first half is dirt with all the fun that comes with that.

I barely fit between these two trees, the awning kept the back of the rig from touching these trees. I'm impressed with the cover for the bushwacker awning.

This trail stopped our progress. Came to a two stage hill, I made it up the first one after multiple attempts. On the second one, steeper, got to about ten feet from the top and slid off the trail on the downhill side, so stopped the truck and evaluated. Time for the winch. Nice having 150ft of winch cable. Wife said it was time to head back as another rain shower was on the way.
