Woke up to this so thought would be a good time to head for home.

Looks like the basics work like lights, wipers, brake lights, heater fan. 4x4 light on dash. Dash lights don’t work? Looks like mostly success with the wiring. Work on the dash lights, alternator wiring, battery wiring. When you hit start the starter relay clicks but I also get the brake light on the dash come on?

I think all the electrical work is done, tested everything except operation of alternator. So tidy up time of the engine compartment and dash. Leave for work tonight for about 2 weeks so when I get back install all the aux gauges and radio, then button up the dash. Fill/bleed the brakes, engine fluids and install a seat and should be ready to start.

It was fancy back in the day. :)

There are plenty of ways to wrap things in small stuff and make it look nice, but I'm not sure that example qualifies as "fancy". Well, unless you are in Georgia :)

Congrats on the new brake handle. Everything you've been doing looks excellent.

First night after getting a Radiator heater installed and all new glow plugs. Started like it was in Georgia :)

Old post but which radiator heater did you install? Was looking at the Kat's 14500 600w

Don’t remember. I would not recommend the inline convective type as you loose all your heat before the water temps get to the block, unless you leave it plugged in all night after driving, this might work. If you really need a heater then I would recommend a Espar or Webasto coolant heater. There is another electrical water heater that I think has a built in water pump? This would probably work ok.

Yeah, I'm concerned about our 5ºF mornings here at 7,000' this winter. I have a glow screen but not smoking out the neighbors in the morning would be nice haha.

I’m gonna try not running the glow screen on mine. Will see how that works between plugging in and using the Espar.

Back home so back to work. I found this front carpet at a US Toyota dealer so decided to try it. The cut outs for the shifters fit with this carpet vs the take-off one I got. This carpet looks like it has the cut outs for a rhd or lhd floor plus the pto shifter.
