I'm with AndrewHadji on this one. Coldtaco, you've given us a photo of the clearance of the U-bolt ends, but that doesn't make it easier to tell if there's a potential issue in that area. Could you provide your opinion please? Yes, because i find those flipped U-bolt leaf spring items rather attractive.

you could cut the studs to just above the nuts, yeah?

Yes, and without cutting, the U-bolt clearance is dependent on spring pack height.

Replaced the recessed part of the air cleaner outlet. Probably gained 0.1% hp

I cut the same piece out of a 96 80 series gas lid.

Wondering why you went with the two different frame to axle brake hoses?

2-2.5" lift and higher should go with the 96940-34705's at both ends.
